Fuel System Technician

Bangor International Airport is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to support the safe handling, storage, and maintenance of aviation fuel systems critical to daily operations.

This role plays an essential part in ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards while maintaining the infrastructure that supports aircraft movements. Responsibilities include fuel testing and quality control, system inspections and maintenance, supporting repairs and construction projects, and participating in emergency response efforts.

The ideal candidate brings experience in fuel handling or related fields, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, hands-on environment. Interested candidates must be able to pass a 10-year background check and obtain the necessary airport security clearances. The individual selected for this role will be subject to PHMSA drug and alcohol testing requirements.

Airport Ramp Attendant (Part-Time)

BGR Aviation (BGR’s FBO) is seeking dependable, hard-working individuals to join our Ramp Services team in a part-time role (6:00 AM – 10:00 AM, 16 hours per week). This position plays a key role in supporting daily mail cargo operations while also assisting with the servicing of a variety of aircraft.

In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for tasks such as loading and unloading cargo, marshalling aircraft, fueling, and completing basic documentation and equipment checks. It’s a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

The ideal candidate brings a strong work ethic, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to perform moderate to heavy physical work in a variety of weather conditions. A valid State of Maine driver’s license with a clean driving record is required, along with the ability to pass a background check and pre-employment screening.

Aviation Service Agent 

BGR Aviation (BGR’s FBO) is seeking an Aviation Service Agent to join our team – supporting, coordinating, communicating, and providing the customer service that keeps general aviation aircraft and crews moving efficiently every day.

This role serves as a key point of connection between flight crews, airport partners, and internal teams. Responsibilities include coordinating aircraft arrivals and departures, managing scheduling systems, arranging services such as catering, hotels, and ground transportation, and providing direct support to passengers and crew.

The position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. From dispatching services and reconciling transactions to assisting with aircraft handling and daily operations, this role offers a dynamic, hands-on experience across multiple areas of the airport. The ideal candidate brings a customer-focused mindset, sound judgment, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively while maintaining a professional and welcoming presence.

Ramp Supervisor: UPS

BGR Aviation (BGR’s FBO) is seeking a motivated and experienced leader to join our team as a Ramp Supervisor, with a primary focus on UPS operations. This role is responsible for overseeing daily ramp activities, leading a team of ramp personnel, and ensuring safe, efficient service for our weekday mail cargo operations. Schedule is Tuesday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

As a working supervisor, you’ll lead by example—supporting aircraft fueling, movement, and cargo operations while coordinating staff, managing schedules, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate brings prior supervisory experience in aviation or a related field, strong leadership and communication skills, and a commitment to safety and service excellence.

Building Maintenance Technician II

Bangor International Airport is seeking a skilled and dependable Building Maintenance Technician II to join our team. If you’re looking to apply your hands-on experience in a dynamic aviation environment, this is a great opportunity to be part of what keeps BGR running strong every day.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of airport building systems and equipment—from HVAC and electrical systems to baggage handling, security infrastructure, and general facility upkeep. This position also includes small construction and carpentry projects, equipment operation, and supporting the overall safety and functionality of airport facilities.

Airfield Maintenance Technician

Bangor International Airport (BGR) is seeking an Airfield Maintenance Technician to support the daily upkeep of our airfield, facilities, and equipment. At BGR, every role plays a part in keeping people and operations moving—and this one is no exception.

This hands-on role is essential to daily airport operations, with responsibilities that include maintaining and repairing runways, taxiways, and ramps; supporting the upkeep of airfield lighting, fencing, gates, and signage; and operating specialized equipment for pavement work such as crack sealing, patching, and line striping. The position also involves routine inspections and minor mechanical repairs on vehicles and equipment, maintaining airport grounds through mowing, trimming, and debris removal, and playing a critical role in snow and ice removal during winter operations.

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, outdoor environment in all conditions. Experience in maintenance trades, equipment operation, or similar work is a plus.

Airport Dispatcher

Bangor International Airport is currently seeking an Airport Dispatcher to join our team. As Maine’s premier gateway, BGR operates 24/7 and relies on dedicated professionals to help keep airport operations running safely and efficiently. Candidates should be prepared to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in support of BGR’s continuous operations.

This position serves as a central communications hub for the airport, coordinating aircraft services, communicating with pilots and airlines, assisting with operational logistics, monitoring airport systems, and supporting emergency response when needed.
