Bangor, ME (December 8, 2025) – Bangor International Airport (BGR) is pleased to announce that Breeze Airways will launch new seasonal nonstop service to Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) beginning in May 2026.

The new route will operate on Wednesdays and Saturdays and provides travelers with a convenient nonstop option to one of the Southeast’s fastest-growing regions, supporting both business travel and leisure connections.

“We are excited to add Raleigh-Durham to our growing list of nonstop destinations,” said Bangor International Airport Director Jose Saavedra. “Breeze has been a strong partner for Bangor, and this new service continues to expand the travel options available to our local community while strengthening ties between our regions.”

While Breeze will not operate nonstop service to Orlando (MCO) during the summer schedule, travelers will still be able to book trips to Orlando with a convenient one-stop connection through Raleigh-Durham. The airline has also confirmed that nonstop service to Orlando will return in September 2026, ensuring continued access to this popular destination as seasonal schedules shift.

Since beginning service at BGR in late 2024, Breeze Airways has continued to grow its presence in Bangor, offering affordable fares, convenient schedules, and nonstop access to key markets across the country.
