CDC Order – Proof Of Negative COVID Test
Effective Jan. 26, 2021, the CDC has issued an Order requiring proof of a negative COVID-19 test for all air passengers entering the United States.
This order is set to prevent further transmission and spread of the COVID-19 while preserving the health and safety of airline crew members, passengers and all other airline personnel. The order also aims to preserve the health and safety of healthcare workers and emergency response resources throughout the country.
To comply with the new order, those traveling to the U.S. must have documentation, either in digital or paper form, of a negative COVID-19 test taken 3 days before their flight. This document must explicitly state the proper name, date of birth, and confirmation of a negative test result along with verification of the lab in which they were administered said test.
